    I doubt anybody still needs to hear this, but the USA economy is like a Lawyer.

    Now, a Lawyer could make his own pens and paper and make about $3 per hour, assuming he could make the initial investment of equipment needed for creating those raw materials starting from nothing

    Or a Lawyer could work as a lawyer and make $300 per hour, then pay others to make pens and paper

    By tariffing steel and aluminium the USA does not create more manufacturing jobs, it destroys them and shuts down mills and factories.
