New Brunswick, NJ halted the development of a data center last night. Hundreds of community members showed up, and organizers from across the region mobilized to pressure to the city council to do the right thing. Community organizers packed the city council building, with hundreds more people outside. And the data center project that was moving towards approval was defeated.
