Rachel Reeves, a self-proclaimed Zionist, has been heckled at Sainsbury’s for being a “genocide supporter.” In December, Reeves made a speech at a lunch with Labour Friends of Israel, saying that protests against the genocide in Gaza were "driven by hate and prejudice and by antisemitism.” She said: “The progressive friends of Israel – whatever their criticisms of particular governments – must be willing to say, unapologetically, ‘I am a Zionist’.”
