Faith leaders last week launched a 50-mile march from Wilson to Raleigh, NC for civil rights and social justice. The three-day “Love Forward Together” march concluded with a rally at the state capitol on Saturday and was organized as a direct response to recent “racist redistricting” initiatives by the North Carolina General Assembly. The march demanded democratic voting rights for all, as well universal healthcare, justice for immigrants, and an end to economic inequality.
