Sherlock Holmes: The Hunt for MoriartyLeeds Playhouse★★☆☆☆BLACKEYED THEATRE has created shows that respond to the curriculum for over 20 years. During the same period, the number of young people choosing to study literature and drama has declined. This production is a rearguard action in this depressing landscape.

    In my humble opinion, two of the better Holmes adaptations.

    Jeremy Brett. A Scandal In Bohemia’ The BBC decided to do all the Doyle stories and this is one of the best of the lot.

    ‘The 7% Solution’ Nicolas Meyers adapted his own novel to make the movie. Holmes needs two doctors, Watson and Freud, to help him overcome his cocaine addiction.
