ICE HOCKEY: Defending champions Belfast still top the Elite League by four points with a game in hand despite winning only one leg of their weekend double header against Nottingham. Second-placed Cardiff won 3-2 in overtime at Guildford but lost 5-2 at home to Sheffield, who also beat Coventry 4-2 to move just one point further off the pace in third. Bottom club Fife edged out Guildford 4-3 but went down 5-2 in Dundee.
