In late January, KM-Emmanuel Lacaba conducted OPOD (operation pinta-operation dikit) along Katipunan Avenue, to mark the anniversary of the First Quarter Storm. The revolutionary organization calls on all youth to forward the people’s democratic revolution by joining the New People’s Army and waging armed struggle in the countryside. History has proven that the path of waging revolution is the sole hope of the Filipino people against corruption and poverty, in the face of a tyrannical fascist regime propped up by US imperialism. Then and now, the young must lead the charge against the US-Marcos regime’s counterrevolutionary violence with an indefatigable revolutionary spirit, armed with the Marxist-Leninist-Maoist stand, viewpoint, and perspective.
