Tenants in the Twin Cities are launching a joint union and demanding Governor Walz pass an eviction moratorium to prevent tenants from being kicked out of their homes during mass ICE raids. 2075 evictions have already been filed in Minnesota since the start of 2026. Both Minneapolis and St. Paul City Councils unanimously passed resolutions approving of a state-wide eviction moratorium. “We are not gonna GoFundMe our way out of this problem.”
