BREAKING: Independent journalist and VP of the National Association of Black Journalists Minnesota chapter Georgia Fort was arrested by federal agents Friday morning for filming a protest at a church earlier this month over the pastor’s affiliation with ICE. This video was taken by Fort just before her arrest. Former CNN journalist Don Lemon was also arrested Thursday night for covering the church protest. BT News is headed to an emergency press conference organized by Black civil rights activists to demand the freedom of those arrested in this morning’s sweep.
