“We’re both union members, so I think of him as my brother.” Federal workers held a candlelight vigil outside the U.S. Dept. of Vetarans Affairs in Washington, D.C. to honor Alex Pretti on Wednesday. Hundreds attended the vigil. The American Federation of Government Employees, the union to which Pretti belonged, recently released a statement demanding the immediate resignation of Department of Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem and Deputy White House Chief of Staff Stephen Miller in the wake of his killing.
