The Second Amendment is about the use of violence, and specifically when the use of violence by the People against the State is allowed.
I don’t think 2A says anything about when the use of violence against the state is “permitted”.
It states simply, the right to keep and bear arms shall not be infringed (the rest is essentially an example of why, such as militia).
Violence against the state by definition isn’t “permitted”, the best one can argue is when it’s “justified”.
Fair enough, I do think mine is a more generous interpretation of “being necessary to the security of a free state” - I read quite a lot into “necessary”, “security”, “free”, and “state” there 😅
