Keir Starmer’s war on anti-genocide speech and protest is too much even for Donald Trump’s US regime. Trump may be in the middle of a fascist war on US citizens, but Starmer’s pro-Israel ‘lawfare’ on pensioners, disabled people and other humanitarians is beyond the pale.
Trump’s ‘free speech tsar’, Under Secretary of State for Public Diplomacy and Public Affairs Sarah Rogers, says so. Rogers told interviewer Ben Smith:
I think if you just merely stand up and say, ‘I support Palestine Action,’ then unless you are really coordinating with some violent foreign terrorist, I think that censoring that speech does more harm than good.
And she even defended protesters’ right to use phrases like “Globalise the intifada”, which the Starmer regime has declared to be hate speech, despite it simply being Arabic for ‘shake off chains’.
I’m from New York City where thousands of people were murdered by jihadists. I don’t want an intifada in New York City, and I think anyone who does is disgusting, but should it be legal to say in most contexts? Yes.
Starmer’s determination to protect Israel and its interests is too authoritarian for the fascist US government. He belongs in the Hague for his war on UK citizens’ rights and freedoms to defend Israel’s terrorism in Gaza.
