In a post on X, Your Party MP Zarah Sultana has exposed Trump’s ‘Board of Peace’ as a front for war criminals and profiteers. Sultana then demanded that Israel, the US and ‘every complicit state’ should be responsible for the whopping $70bn cost to repair the destruction caused during the genocide on Gaza.

Zarah Sultana calls out Trump’s ‘board of occupation’
Sultana’s demand follows the imposition of a “board of peace” to govern Gaza under phase two of Trump’s so-called peace plan. The plan has drawn huge controversy with Trump setting a ‘buy-in’ fee of $1bn to get a seat at the table. The US President would have ‘personal’ control of the billions of dollars this may generate, in yet another blatant disregard for something as old school as ‘legality’.
Our own Skwawkbox reported about how this plan for peace is little more than a plan to ensure that Palestinians submit to western, colonial powers, while ensuring that Trump ultimately profits from those wanting to ‘buy a seat at the table’:
Trump would personally control the cash, according to a draft charter provided to news outlet Bloomberg. Even Israel’s Benjamin Netanyahu has reportedly rejected the demand, along with several of the nations criminal enough to want to be involved.

Since 7 October 2023, we have watched a live-streamed genocide and many in the UK have learned that the West has no moral authority over other states. You name it; the US and its ‘lapdog’ allies have done it. Despite hundreds of scholars and genocide experts declaring Israel’s onslaught on Gaza as a genocide, Western leaders have chosen to subvert international and domestic law to gain favour with Israel or the US; or ignore the rule of law altogether.

It isn’t hard to see how this blatant lawlessness can escalate, threatening to take us into an eternal war and empowering colonial maniacs to invade sovereign states while behaving like petty little kids. Here, Sultana demands that mass murder and destruction have legal and monetary consequences for all states willingly enabling Israel’s war crimes.
