    goebbels, who was hitler’s chief nazi propaganda minister, took a lot of inspiration from an american named eddie bernays, who literally wrote the book on propaganda, which should be required reading for every student.

    it’s not just about constant hammering of one-sided stories, but also about manipulating behavior, and making people believe it was their own idea.
