Trump’s ICE fascists have claimed that a Cuban detainee who died in ICE custody “died while attempting suicide”.

They are lying.

ICE now lying about Cuban detainee Geraldo Lunas Campos

An eye-witness says that guards pinned and choked Cuban detainee Geraldo Lunas Campos after he refused to enter a new area of the ICE detention camp without his meds. Guards reacted by handcuffing and choking him.

The El Paso County medical examiner agrees. After performing an autopsy, the medical examiner’s office said that Campos’s death was a homicide and was caused by “asphyxia from chest and neck compression”.

In other words, Campos was pinned and choked, exactly as the witness said.

Entirely unsurprisingly, ICE is lying about Campos’s death, just as it lied and continues to lie about ‘agent’ Jonathan Ross’s murder of Minneapolis mum Renee Good. And just as with Good’s murder, the Trump regime is smearing the victim. ICE’s parent agency DHS described Campos as one of “the worst of the worst”.

The Trump government is a terror regime.
