During the second day of commemoration for the 32 combatants killed in Venezuela, the head of State stressed that the US aggression confirms the predatory nature of imperialism.

“The Cuban people are not anti-imperialist by default; imperialism made us anti-imperialist,” the president stated before the Anti-Imperialist Tribune.

“But not only Cuba, the world will become increasingly anti-imperialist as a result of this act against all international norms,” he said.

Diaz-Canel emphasized the historical relationship between unity and victory: “All the victories of the Cuban people are associated with the strength of unity.

Every time the patriotic forces were divided, we lost. Every time they united, we triumphed.” The president warned that the nation’s enemies are aware of this dynamic and “are betting on breaking that unity.”

He noted that their current threats are reminiscent of those made by almost every American administration controlled by so-called war hawks.
