Mahmoud slams Maccabi ban

On January 14, home secretary Shabana Mahmood denounced, once again, the excellent decision to ban Maccabi Tel Aviv football fans from a match in Birmingham in October 2025. On the same day, those same supporters of the ‘Israeli’ football club revealed themselves as the thugs they are. It wouldn’t be the first time.

Outright thuggery

A group of hooligans dressed in the club’s colours were filmed chanting abuse and hurling objects at Palestinians. The incident took place in Jaffa, with the attackers targeting the owner and staff of a car wash. They subjected their victims to the notorious chant “Death to Arabs.”

Earlier that day, Westminster’s Maccabi advocates were cheering as lawless Mahmood pontificated in the hooligans’ honour. She was hammering West Midlands Police (WMP) chief constable, Craig Guildford, for his correct decision to prevent the the racist violence Zionist louts unleashed on Amsterdam in November 2024. They have routinely attacked Arabs, torn down Palestinian flags, and spouted vile chants celebrating the Israeli Genocide Forces’ (IGF) holocaust in Gaza. The most sickening of these is:

There are no schools in Gaza, as there are no children left.

Due to so-called ‘Israel’s’ policy of conscription, most Maccabi fans will have undergone military training and many will have served in Gaza. Given the scale of criminality perpetrated there, some are likely war criminals.

Still, a current far-right trope is to describe immigrants as “military-aged men” — fraudulently characterising them as an invading army. Ironic no…considering the military background of Maccabi fans.

Decision to ban Zionist thugs was correct

Understandably, Guildford didn’t want the wretched presence of land thieves at an Aston Villa Europa League match. Subsequently, police chief inspector Andy Cooke determined there were a few trivial errors in the report used to inform the chief constable’s decision. These included use of AI, which misidentified the date of a previous West Ham match. None of them changed the substance of the matter — whether Islamophobic and racist thugs should terrorise a city with a significant Muslim population.

Mahmood is now attempting to use the confected controversy as a means of hounding Guildford out of a job. She is also attempting to consolidate greater power in Westminster, one of the most centralised power structures of any nation.

The wrecker of protest rights — who has overseen frail pensioners being dragged off into police vans for holding paper signs — seeks to amass more powers to abuse by restoring the right of the home secretary to dismiss police constables.

Labour’s hounding of the WMP chief represents the first time in 20 years that a government has called for the dismissal of a chief constable. Looking at the Police Service of Northern Ireland (PSNI) alone, recent scandals include a data breach in 2023 that revealed personal details of over 9000 officers and staff, and the disappearance of 40,000 bullets from a police firing range. Yet Mahmood expects us to believe these are less serious failures than getting the date wrong of a football match in East London.

Antisemites in British cabinet issue slurs against Jewish people

The liars that fill the British government have attempted to characterise the WMP decision as prejudice against Jewish people. War criminal Keir Starmer lectured “We will not tolerate antisemitism”. This is recycling of an Islamophobic trope about Muslims being haters of Jewish people, with Tory leader Kemi Badenoch suggesting the prime minister:

…capitulated to Islamists and then collaborated with them to cover it up.

We say it often, but it bears repeating — the chief antisemites are those linking Jewish people in general to the terrorist, genocidal, apartheid, colonial land theft project of so-called ‘Israel’. The suggestion that Jewish people would be opposed to Birmingham being ransacked by thugs is an outrageous racist slur. Even ‘Israeli’ police decided to put an end to Maccabi Tel Aviv fan violence, shutting down a derby between their club and Hapoel Tel Aviv. Police said there was:

Disorderly conduct, riots, injured police officers and damage to infrastructure – this is not a soccer game, this is a breach of order and serious violence.

Presumably ‘Israeli’ cops are antisemites too. The evidence is overwhelming, from Tel Aviv to Amsterdam to Jaffa – Maccabi Tel Aviv fans are abominable racist thugs. The WMP were right to ban them. The first person who should be out of a job is Shabana Mahmood.
