A leaked Signal chat reveals the chair of the New Hampshire House Education Committee advocating for segregated schools, namely whites-only institutions.

Segregated schools?!
The group chat is allegedly used by the Republicans on the New Hampshire House Education Committee. Granite Post News has identified one member, named “Kristin Noble”, as State Rep. Kristin Noble.
She serves as a Republican member of the New Hampshire House of Representatives
In the chat, she suggested that schools should segregate white children and children of colour. She wrote:
when we have segregated schools we can add all the fun stuff lol
Followed by:
imagine the scores though if we had schools for them and some for us.
This is horrifically racist rhetoric typical of the white nationalist foundation of America itself.
Her website states:
I believe education, free from ideological pressures, is key to the success of our public school system.
Apparently for Kristin, “free from ideological pressures” means white supremacy. Is it any wonder ICE are getting away with murdering and assaulting people when state representatives are peddling racist bullshit?
And they don’t even have the intelligence to do it offline.
‘A living scar’
Importantly, no one should be even joking about segregation.
In a statement on X, Alexis Simpson, House Democratic Leader, said:
Segregation is not a relic to be mocked; it is a living scar carved into our schools, our communities, and our democracy. It was built through violence, enforced by law, and justified by indifference. To laugh about it from the halls of power is to dishonor every child denied opportunity, every family forced to fight for dignity, and every generation that marched, organized, and sacrificed for equal access to education.
Most concerning is that these comments about segregation were made by members of House Republican leadership, including the Chair of the House Education Policy Committee. We condemn Rep. Noble’s remarks in the strongest possible terms.
Whether shouted, whispered, laughed about, or typed in a Signal chat to your colleagues, racism has no place in our legislature or our future. No one who believes in segregated schools should be leading the Education Policy Committee.
Racist, gun-wielding lunatics
Another message on the same chat, from Melissa Litchfield – who also sits on the New Hampshire House of Representatives for the Republicans, says:
No, not the way schools are run right now. I do not want to risk kids being taught that guns are bad.
So far in 2026 in the US, there have been 473 gun deaths and an additional 938 injuries. Yet still, Republicans – who have the IQ of a Babybel – do not want kids to think guns are bad. In the UK, it took just one major shooting to ban guns. Yet most Americans still can’t figure out that banned guns = considerably fewer shootings.
Americans are so attached to a constitutional amendment written 238 years ago by a bunch of rich white guys who were all swimming in fucked up behaviour. From owning slavesand targeting immigrants, to having affairs and limiting free speech, society may not have seen these choices as problematic in 1787 – but if anyone can look back on that and come to the conclusion these rules should still stand – then someone needs to bash their head against a wall.
