On January 7, 2026, an ICE agent shot and killed a South Minneapolis woman, Renee Nicole Good. Videos show that this was a cold blooded murder, and the pigs’ “justification” that the ICE murderer “feared for his life” is, of course, a transparent lie. We join the people of Minneapolis in mourning this martyr, and it is ever clearer that we must continue to build a mass movement capable of escalating the struggle against these pigs that are stealing our very lives.
Internationally, the Yankee fascist regime continues its imperialist dirty work, blatantly kidnapping President Nicolas Maduro and First Lady Cilia Flores, and murdering over 80 Cuban and Venezuelan citizens. It also has escalated the economic chokehold, seizing oil tankers attempting to leave the country. Elements of the US Coast Guard from crew which fired live ammunition in the direction of protesters this past October, as they facilitated ICE agents moving into the Bay Area to take part in a surge operation similar to what is being seen in Minneapolis. Once again, we see imperialism coming home to roost with deadly results. It now saber rattles against Iran, Colombia, Mexico, and Cuba, which it seeks to strangle into regime change through manufacturing an energy crisis by banning Venezuelan oil.
The New Year of this hellhole could not start without fresh blood of colonized people. On New Years Eve, an off-duty ICE agent in Northridge, California took it upon himself to shed the blood of Keith Porter on a reactionary urge to kill a Black person, in the finest American tradition. On duty or off duty, a pig is a pig. ICE is simply the most open manifestation of what America has always been - a fascist hellhole. We are reminded that struggle continues, and the need to build and strengthen our movement only becomes more urgent. This is no time to slow down, give-up or look for compromise. This is the moment to show and build solidarity, to bring others into our struggle and build something capable of building a new world.
We stand in solidarity with Renee, her partner, her family, along with the immigrant and refugee communities in South Minneapolis. With Keith Porter and his family. With all movements across the world fighting for socialism, sovereignty and national liberation. The Trump regime’s attacks are cruel and unjust, and we must do what we can to overcome them. Through thick and thin, we march forward towards victory!
Dare to struggle, Dare to Win!
In solidarity,
Liberation
