Philadelphia’s police chief and district attorney (DA) have issued a defiant message to the Trump regime’s ‘ICE’ thugs in the wake of their murder of Minneapolis mum Renee Good: try anything here and you go to jail.
ICE agents WILL be jailed
Trump and his mini-me VP JD Vance have claimed that ICE agents have ‘absolute’ immunity from prosecution for their actions. But DA Larry Krasner warned the masked criminals that that’s not how state and city law works. Sheriff Rochelle Bilal added that no real law enforcement officer wears a mask and that any ICE ‘agent’ assaulting, harming or harassing ‘Philly’ residents would be arrested on the spot:
We are not going to whisk you away for them to hide your identity, because when you do it there, you are getting arrested there.

Will other cities in the US show similar resolve? Will Trump and his supposed ‘party of small government’ try to impose Washington’s terror and impunity on cities and states? The answer to the second is a lot clearer than the first, but if both are yes then the US may not be far from civil war.

For what it’s worth, the office of the sheriff in Philadelphia is only responsible for courts, transporting prisoners and things like that. Bilal is not in charge of cops on the street.
Here’s an article from Committee of Seventy, which is a good government organization I trust, primarily about the history of problems with the sheriff’s office in Philadelphia, but also mentioning the role of the sheriff. https://seventy.org/sheriffsoffice
people disappear in Philly. like seriously… don’t fuck with Philly.
can’t claim murder if there’s no body.
Shouldn’t we be encouraging them to do it there in that case?
You absolutely can claim murder if there’s no body it’s just really difficult and rare.
It would be a really bad system otherwise.
