In a BBC interview, Laura Kuenssberg, has asked Peter Mandelson about his relationship with the dead paedophile Jeffrey Epstein. In the course of answering, slimeball Mandelson gave an incredibly dishonest impression of his ongoing relationship with the convicted sex offender:
“The friendship I had 25yrs ago”
Mandelson downplaying his relationship with “best pal” Epstein. He stayed at Epsteins house in 2009 (after Epstein had been convicted) & still had contact with him as late as 2015
And the way he uses Epsteins victims here is appalling #BBCLauraK pic.twitter.com/30fG1MhmbZ

Even worse, he flat-out refused to apologise for continuing his friendship with Epstein after the man’s sexual abuse conviction.
Human filth
In the video above, Mandelson says:
The crux of this is not me.
Peter, you’re sat down in a face-to-face interview answering questions about your personal relationship with the man; in this instance, the crux of it is 100% you.
He continued:
The crux of this is not the friendship I had 25 years ago with Jeffrey Epstein.
Mandelson was forced to resign because his friendship with Epstein continued long after the paedophile’s conviction for sex offences in 2009 (something Starmer knew when he made him the ambassador to the US). In fact, the most recent email we know of between the two men is from 2016.
In the communication below, Mandelson refers to an ‘Andrew’, with many assuming this must be the now ex-prince Andrew:
Weird that Mandelson had the nous to warn Epstein not to hang out with Prince Andrew, but didn’t have the nous to stop hanging out with Epstein pic.twitter.com/Bk2binsBhB

Getting to the third sentence of the video above, Mandelson said:
The crux of this is that so many hundreds of young women were completely trapped, powerless in a system that did not listen to what they had to say.
The system did listen to some of those women in 2009, though, didn’t it. This is why Epstein was convicted. Given that Mandelson continued the friendship beyond then, it’s clearly him who didn’t “listen to what they had to say”.
This isn’t to say that the system didn’t fail most of Epstein’s victims, of course; it’s to say that Mandelson is a loathsome hypocrite who has absolutely no business speaking on behalf of these women.
Mandelson is not sorry
Further emphasising that he doesn’t give a shit, Mandelson flat out refused to apologise for his continued relationship. Instead, he apologised for ‘the system’:
Lord Mandelson refuses to apologise for continuing his association with “best pal” Jeffrey Epstein after Epstein had been convicted in 2008 (Mandelson stayed at Epsteins lavish Manhattan townhouse in 2009 & they remained in contact as late as 2015) #BBCLauraK pic.twitter.com/MOWn4mqTyB

Pathetic.
This man must never have a place in British politics again.
