Israel’s slaughter of defenceless Palestinians has continued unabated despite its claim to be observing a “ceasefire”. At least 14 people, including five children, were killed in fresh massacres throughout Gaza on Thursday 8 January. Israel has killed well over 70,000 people in Gaza since 2023, but that estimate is considered by many to be very conservative; it does not account for thousands believed to be buried under the rubble or for deaths from things like disease caused by the genocide.
