The US has seized two Russian-flagged oil tankers sailing in Venezuelan waters, claiming they were linked to illicit exports. On Novara Live, Ash Sarkar says international law is clear: ships in international waters cannot be unilaterally boarded unless there’s an international crime being committed, like piracy. But, frankly, the US simply does not care.
