After attacking it on several days over the last week, Israel has bombed Lebanon around thirty times today. As so often, Western ‘mainstream’ media have been silent on the Zionist entity’s action, despite a supposed ‘ceasefire’ in place between the two since 2024.

Israel bombs Lebanon again and again – despite the alleged ceasefire

Turkish news agency Anadolu Ajansi has been one of the few corporate media outlets to cover the criminal attacks. Areas just south of Lebanon, and in southern Lebanon just north of the ‘blue line’ demarcation suffered heavy Israeli bombing and missile attacks.

The supposed ceasefire in place after Israel’s terrorist September 2009 pager-bomb campaign has been a classic example of Israel’s ‘you cease, we fire’ arrogance. It has routinely violated its obligations throughout the notional ceasefire with Lebanon, killing and maiming hundreds of civilians. Even United Nations peacekeepers have been repeatedly attacked.

The occupation regime has also threatened a new, full-scale invasion and its agents have already begun holding sales events for settlers to buy land in southern Lebanon. Israel claims it is bombing Lebanon to ‘liberate’ it from Iran.

It has done most of this to silence, at best, from western media – and often with their outright propaganda support, just as in Gaza.
