The International Forum for Peace raises its firm voice of condemnation against the military aggression carried out by the government of the United States, which deliberately, illegally, and unilaterally has attacked several areas of the country through airstrikes conducted by its air force.
This grave act constitutes a flagrant violation of international law and of the United Nations Democratic Charter, in its Articles 1 and 2, which prohibit the use of force against territorial integrity. Today, the United States has committed a violation of Venezuela’s sovereignty and confirmed its warmongering, imperialist, and colonialist character.
We are facing an act of war. We call upon the entire international community—political parties, social movements, peace defenders, and activists—to repudiate this event and demand that international responsibilities be established. We consider it necessary for the UN to make every possible effort to prevent a sudden war scenario with serious consequences for the entire region.
The United States continues to be the main promoter of wars around the world. Together with the theft of the country’s assets and acts of piracy, it is clear that this war seeks only to seize control of strategic resources, primarily Venezuelan oil.
We call on all forces that defend peace to mobilize to the fullest, condemning the administration of Donald Trump for undertaking these actions, which constitute an affront to peace and regional stability.
We firmly oppose the application of the renewed Monroe Doctrine, which considers Latin America its backyard. Latin America and the Caribbean must remain a zone of peace, as declared by CELAC.

El Foro Internacional por la paz, levanta su voz firme de condena a la agresión militar por parte del gobierno de Estados Unidos, quien de manera delibera, ilegal y unilateral ha atacado varias zonas del país, mediante bombardeos realizados por su fuerza aérea.
Este grave acto constituye una flagrante violación al derecho internacional, y a la carta democrática de las Naciones Unidas, en su artículo 1 y 2 que prohíben el uso de la fuerza contra la integridad territorial. Estados Unidos ha consumado hoy la violación a la soberanía de Venezuela, y confirmado su carácter guerrerista, imperialista y colonialista.
Estamos frente a un acto de guerra, hacemos un llamado a toda la comunidad internacional, partidos políticos, movimientos sociales, defensores y activistas por la paz, ha repudiar este hecho, y pedir que se establezcan las responsabilidades internacionales. Consideramos necesario que NNUU haga todos los esfuerzos posibles para evitar una situación de Guerra de improviso secuencias para toda la Región
Estados Unidos, sigue siendo el principal promotor de guerras en el mundo, esto junto a las acciones de robo de los activos del país y las acciones de piratería deja claro que esta guerra sólo busca con hacerse del control de los recursos estratégicos, principalmente el petróleo venezolano.
Pedimos a todas las fuerzas defensoras de la paz, la máxima movilización, condenando a la administración de Donald Trump, por emprender estas acciones, que son una afrenta a la paz y la estabilidad regional.
Nos oponemos firmemente a la aplicación de la renovada doctrina Monroe, que considera América Latina, como su patio trasero. América Latina y el Caribe debe ser una zona de paz tal y como ha declarado la CELAC
Hacemos un llamado a incrementar la solidaridad con el pueblo de Venezuela, y denunciar el carácter criminal de esta agresión militar.
