“Honor and glory to the 32 Cuban heroes who lost their lives defending the Venezuelan people against the United States’ attack on that sister nation,” added the Hermanos Saíz Association (AHS) on its Facebook page.
The organization, which brings together the young artistic vanguard in Cuba, echoed the statement of the intellectual and president of Casa de las Américas, Abel Prieto, quoting his words:
“Eternal glory to our fallen comrades!!!” It is worth remembering that the Cuban writer, during his address at the Anti-Imperialist Tribune in Havana, urged everyone to “knock on every door so that the truth about this sinister plan to seize Venezuela’s wealth is made public.” “We must stop the forces of hatred, war, and fascism, and defend the right to peace, life, solidarity, sovereignty, and justice,” he asserted.
The AHS also remembered the messages of the renowned singer-songwriter Silvio Rodriguez and the duet Buena Fe, through which the latter praised the dedication and sacrifice for their homeland and for Latin America of the “32 Cuban brothers who fell in the line of duty.”
“All peace-loving people, all human beings with dignity across the world, international organizations, peoples, and governments must stop all this madness from the power elite in the United States and its president, who believes himself to be emperor of the world,” wrote the national president of the AHS, Yasel Toledo.
