Owner Haleem Kherallah shows his seats bearing the face of abducted and tortured Dr Hussam Abu Safiya.
An Israel lobbyist has claimed that a Palestinian hospital director abducted and tortured by Israel is a “Hamas colonel”. Not satisfied with that, she claimed that showing his picture in a London restaurant threatens a nearby “popular Jewish restaurant”.
Brighton-based Heidi Bachram, an Israel fanatic despite not even being Jewish, has just been exposed attempting a dishonest antisemitism prosecution. Alongside the notorious CAA, she was kicked out of court by a judge in their harassment prosecution against a Black comedian. She seems not to have learned much humility or self-reflection.
Heidi Bachram: next-level pearl-clutching
Heidi Bachram posted on social media this week implying that ShakeShuka restaurant was threatening to clients of a nearby ‘Jewish restaurant’ for showing pictures of Dr Hussam Abu Safiya:
Shakeshuka guy put the face of a Hamas Colonel on chairs outside his cafe in London. This place is a five-minute walk from a popular Jewish restaurant. He’s despicable.
Israel has held Dr Hussam Abu Safiya in a torture camp for more than a year after abducting him as it destroyed his hospital. He is one of many doctors Israel kidnapped or murdered and has been frequently starved and tortured. The likes of Bachram smear him to justify Israel’s crimes – guess who’s really despicable.

Heidi Bachram is not the only Zionist clutching her pearls over ShakeShuka. Nottingham ‘anti-terror’ academic Amira Halperin said that it is:
shocking that such an establishment exists in central London [because] …Gaza photographs and anti-Israel messaging covered the walls. Tables displayed Palestinian flag colours alongside ‘save Gaza’ slogans. One image promoted an ‘Apartheid Free Zone’ campaign connected to the BDS movement. The owner actively participates in Cage International.
Palestinian-owned ShakeShuka, on Marylebone Road in London, says that it is:
more than a space, it’s a community. A gathering point for authors, artists, activists, filmakers [sic], changemakers, and everyone who stands with Palestine, united in their voice, their creativity, and their commitment to justice. In these walls, conversations have sparked, connections have grown, and the fight for peace has been held with strength, dignity, and hope.
