In his traditional year-end message, the President of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro, presented a review of 2025 this Wednesday, which he defined as “the year of the broadest and firmest consensus ever achieved in our republican history.”

During his address, the president highlighted the progress made in building National Power and the advancement of the Seven Transformations Plan as central pillars of the country’s political and social development.

14 Economic Sectors Drive the Venezuelan Growth Model

The Head of State emphasized that 2025 was a period of “victorious resistance,” marked by the strategic coordination among the various sectors of Venezuelan society. This historic consensus has allowed for the consolidation of a strong, profoundly democratic, and sovereign state.

“It has been a year of intense work, significant challenges, and above all, a collective fortitude that has astonished the world,” he stated.

One of the essential ideas of his message was the strengthening of National Power, understood as the integration of military power with popular power, as well as the union of economic power with scientific and technological power. The president emphasized that, in just one year, this concept has become a “tangible reality on the ground.” He also highlighted the role of spiritual and cultural power as a guiding principle of the Bolivarian transformative process.

In the realm of science and technology, the Bolivarian leader pointed out that Venezuela’s new Independence is cognitive in nature, positioning these fields as fundamental tools at the service of social well-being and the defense of national sovereignty. “This technological development, in conjunction with cultural power, constitutes the main support of the national consciousness that safeguards the future of the next generations,” he stated.

The President also praised the role of the Popular Consultations held during 2025, asserting that “we owe each Popular Consultation brilliant solutions and, most importantly, current and lasting social agreements.” These consultations, he noted, have been key to legitimizing the Plan of the Seven Transformations, which has become “the law of the present to shape the future.”

In this way the President reaffirmed the Bolivarian Government’s strategy toward the 2030 goal, based on citizen participation, popular unity, and the unwavering defense of national sovereignty. “When a people decides to walk together, nothing can stop them, nothing can defeat them,” he concluded.

The leader announced that Venezuela will close 2025 with a diversified and productive economy, definitively overcoming the rentier model of the 20th century. The Head of State emphasized that the 14 economic engines are advancing in a coordinated manner under a strategic vision that has allowed the country to produce what it consumes and export agricultural and marine products to international markets.

The president stressed that the growth rates achieved, even under conditions of blockade, confirm that Venezuela has overcome the siege imposed a decade ago. Finally, President Maduro asserted that the country now has greater preparation, experience, and unity to face new challenges, guaranteeing its sovereign progress toward the year 2030 with a fully consolidated National Power.
