Another satirical video mocking Zionist claims to Palestinian land is trending again as 2025 comes to a close.

The clip, seemingly aimed at British ‘patriots’ with Zionist-leanings, reframes the “two-sides” narrative.

It depicts a Roman descendant asserting ownership over a local resident’s home in Bath, after all, the Romans controlled this land nearly 2,000 years ago…technically, they were here first.

Oh, and if you disagree, that’s just hate speech apparently.

“The Romans occupied England in the 5th century, so anyone of Roman descent has a historical claim to the land.”

It’s one of the best sketches I’ve ever seen, it is so accurate and highlights the situation in Palestine. pic.twitter.com/r9crtPSlt5

Refusal to concede

The video inverts the narrative used by Israeli Zionists to justify the illegal displacement, subjugation,  oppression, and bombardment of Palestinians.

It exposes flaws in the self-righteous Zionist claim of “our historic land,” satirised through an Italian woman of “Roman” descent, who knocks on a stranger’s door and asks nonchalantly:

Roman woman: Hello, nice to meet you. Do you live here?

Confused by the line of questioning, the Brit asks about her credentials:

Brit: No, I live alone. Sorry, who are you?

Getting to the crux of the matter, the woman asks about Bath’s rich Roman history. The Brit starts to cotton on and points out the absurdity of her claim:

Brit: I see you’re joking. It’s a lovely joke. Because you’re Italian, you think that you own this place because…

And in true Zionist fashion, the Roman woman refuses to concede, reasserting her ancient claim to the man’s home:

No, there is no joke. The Romans occupied England in the 5th century. So anyone of Roman descent has an historic claim to this land. Now leave, my family is waiting outside.

The Roman woman reminds the Brit that ‘their god’ proclaimed it, just as Zionist camp misappropriate Judaism as a justification for Israeli crimes against Palestinians.

Roman woman: Yes. My god Jupiter proclaimed it. So now back up and piss off, pretty boy.

What’s true for one should be true for all, right?

Funny how some Westerners can get behind it in the Middle East but can’t when it affects White people.

The double standard of the ‘free speech brigade’ is that they quickly call for punishment of ‘woke’ sentiments they dislike, yet insist on their own right to spread hateful or provocative statements.

As a person of Roman descent, so by the nazionistic logic, I formally demand the return of all of England to me. Roads, walls, ruins, tea included.
If ancestry alone decides ownership, the empire’s back on—sorry, I don’t make the rules. https://t.co/1AnxODb3FU

This is EXACTLY what Israeli immigrants are doing to native Palestinians! If the good people of the world can’t see that, they are beyond help.https://t.co/4Zj0iIFOO0

Another X user pointed out how a Roman would arguably have more weight to their inherent claim to British homes and land if using the same logic:

This is outrageous, but does not come close.
The Romans occupied England for 500 years, whereas the jews ruled palestine for 90 years under David and Solomons ( pbu them ). And Jews today are from different places rather than the actual descendant of David and Solomons. https://t.co/Nu6qaFVdN3

Zionist’s ridiculous claims exposed yet again

Just as Tadhg Hickey’s satirical videos struck a chord with his viewers, this trending video balances humour with serious legal and moral issues surrounding Israeli war crimes against Palestinians.

Imagine the Romans at your doorstep. Would you give up your home?

If the answer is no, it’s unjust to demand the same from Palestinians.
