Israel, Greece, and Cyprus have signed a working plan and military cooperation agreement for 2026, according to the Israeli media, citing a source from the occupation army.
Reports indicate that the agreement does not involve creating a permanent force, but rather a military structure that could be rapidly deployed in the eastern Mediterranean on land, sea, and air.

This military group would be stationed on the Greek islands of Karpathos and Rhodes, as well as in territories of Greece, Cyprus, and the Zionist entity.
On December 22, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu met in occupied Jerusalem with Greek Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis and Cypriot President Nikos Christodoulides. In a joint statement, Netanyahu stated that the parties agreed to enhance cooperation in security and technology.

During the signing of the agreement, Netanyahu declared: “To those who dream of restoring empires, I say that will not happen”, a warning that, given the allies Tel Aviv regimes associates with, seems to be directed to Türkiye.
Relations between Ankara, Athens, and Nicosia are characterized by persistent tension marked by rivalry and instability.
Similarly, Türkiye maintains friction with the Israeli occupation in various areas, especially since the start of the genocide on Gaza in 2023 and due to recent developments in Syria.
