General Luciano Portolano, Chief of the Joint Staff of the Armed Forces, stated in an interview with the newspaper Il Sole 24 Ore that Italy continues to provide support to Ukraine, which now exceeds that amount, “through the supply of military equipment, vehicles, and supplies authorized by 11 interministerial decrees.”
Portolano’s statements come just hours before the Italian Council of Ministers is scheduled to approve the next decree to extend civil and military aid to Kiyv for another year, which is expected to be signed between December 29 and 30.
