As the Western world celebrates Christmas, Israel is intensifying its campaign of mass bombings over civilian areas in Gaza and Lebanon.

On Christmas Day, the residents of Tubas in occupied West Bank woke up to leaflets dispensed by the Israeli military — dubbed the sickest of ‘Christmas cards’.

Israel is watching

The document issues a grim warning to Palestinians. It states that Israel is monitoring their every move online and that publishing “insightful content” — which it does not define — constitutes a “terrorist crime”. A full translation of those leaflets is provided below:

Disseminating inciting content

Publishing inciting content online, is considered a terrorist crime in every sense of the word and may expose you to arrest or even imprisonment, as happened in this house.

We have warned you.

Stifling dissent

Israel is a terror state, and western governments are rolling out similar tactics against their own people to shield Israel from criticism.

The Starmer regime continues criminalising free speech, protest, and the right to resistance, to shield the racist regime from scrutiny.

Christmas is a time of year where the birth of the world’s most revered Palestinian, should inspire us to secure the freedom of all Palestinians and oppressed peoples worldwide.
