The “Isabel Gómez” Pediatric Hospital, with the capacity to treat more than 200 patients daily and serve a population of approximately 700,000, was completely modernized by the “Juntos Todos es Posible” Corporation. The works included roof waterproofing, patching and painting, ceiling repairs, installation of air conditioners and lighting, renovation of electrical and plumbing systems, carpentry, facade work, and polishing of granite floors, in addition to fully equipping the healthcare center.
The facility now has 100 inpatient beds, 2 operating rooms, 4 recovery beds, 4 pediatric intensive care unit beds, 22 neonatal intensive care unit beds, a laboratory, imaging services, a blood bank, a milk bank, and specialized consultations in cardiology, neurology, nephrology, neonatology, and pediatric surgery, among others.
Furthermore, a dental service with state-of-the-art equipment was incorporated for the first time.
The governor of Bolívar state, Yulisbet García, thanked President Maduro and highlighted the importance of these improvements for children. For his part, the president emphasized: “With so many campaigns spreading lies about Venezuela, they don’t realize that Venezuela has a profound leadership characterized by constant renewal, proven legitimacy, and a capacity for work, governance, and mobilization. And this leadership is present in every street, every community, and every public institution.”
In Maracay, Aragua state, the rehabilitated Central Hospital was also inaugurated. This hospital serves 89,530 patients monthly in areas such as pediatrics, emergency care, oncology, neurosurgery, nephrology, psychiatry, ophthalmology, and more.

Governor Joana Sánchez confirmed, “Today we have a Level IV hospital equipped with all the necessary equipment,” highlighting the support of the Ministry of Popular Power for Health, led by Minister Magaly Gutiérrez.
The emergency department was equipped with 51 new beds, 22 multiparameter monitors, electrocardiographs, an echocardiograph, medication carts, and other essential equipment. The surgical area, meanwhile, was renovated with 9 refurbished operating rooms, operating tables, stretchers, anesthesia machines, videolaryngoscopes, and specialized medical furniture.

These improvements are part of the OBRATÓN 2025 plan, launched by the national government to strengthen public health infrastructure throughout the country, prioritizing universal and free access to quality medical services.
