Foreign Ministry spokesman Lin Jian stated that Beijing firmly opposes the generalization of the concept of national security and the establishment of discriminatory lists against Chinese companies.
He also noted that the measure constitutes unjustified repression that violates the principles of fair competition and the market.
Lin urged the United States to correct its erroneous practices and provide Chinese companies with a fair, equitable, and non-discriminatory business environment.
DJI is one of the world’s largest manufacturers of civilian and commercial drones, with a broad international presence, while in recent years Washington has imposed restrictions on several Chinese technology companies under the pretext of national security.
