Authorities stated in a bulletin that they are maintaining active epidemiological surveillance systems and continuous monitoring of respiratory viruses nationwide.

“The case was identified promptly, and the patient is under medical supervision, following the established protocols for this type of respiratory infection,” the Ministry affirmed.

Given the presence of this and other viruses, they reiterated to the public the importance of maintaining preventive measures, such as frequent handwashing, wearing a mask if experiencing respiratory symptoms, and seeking timely medical attention at health centers if any warning signs appear.

Currently, the Ministry is promoting a free influenza vaccination campaign at health centers, especially for priority groups.
