According to a statement released on the Russian Foreign Ministry’s website, the two deputy ministers also addressed cooperation with countries in Central Asia and the South Caucasus.

“The discussion took place in a friendly, constructive, and trusting atmosphere, characteristic of the comprehensive partnership and strategic interaction between Russia and China,” the statement added.
