Deeply stupid move in the stratotanker’s (presumably) part, but at the same time 2-3 miles of space is decidedly not a near collision, even at passenger jet speeds. There’s so much shit the US is doing that doesn’t need sensationalizing, why did they feel the need to exaggerate this one?
