Brazilian club Flamengo was crowned champion of the FIFA Challenge Cup after defeating Egyptian club Pyramids 2-0, concluding the second round of the final three matches in the FIFA Club World Cup hosted by the State of Qatar. Flamengo now progress to the FIFA Intercontinental Cup final.

Flamengo’s goals were scored by Leo Pereira in the 24th minute and Danilo in the 52nd minute, ending the ambitions of Pyramids, led by Croatian coach Krunoslav Jurčić
Brazilian club Flamengo were crowned champions of the FIFA Confederations Cup last week after a 2-1 victory over Mexico’s Cruz Azul.
The Brazilian club is set to face French giants Paris Saint-Germain in the FIFA Intercontinental Cup final, which will be held on 17 December at 8pm at Ahmed bin Ali Stadium.
