The diplomat reminded this Wednesday the members of the Federation Council (the Upper House of the Russian Parliament) that Trump also accused his predecessor, Joe Biden, of undermining confidence in the dollar and “pushing BRICS countries to seek alternative payment platforms.”

Lavrov pointed out that Biden is not solely responsible for the difficult international situation, and the current situation is a consequence of the current White House’s continued policies.
