THIS is why voting blue isn’t going to help. Voting red pushes the country farther right. Voting blue keeps things EXACTLY how they currently are WITHOUT any movement to undo any harm done between terms in office. Democrats exist soley to make you think you have a choice. You don’t. You don’t have a choice in how this country is run. You never did. The real people who run this country aren’t even politicians. You didn’t vote for them. Nobody did.
People like Mark Zuckerberg. I’ve never signed up for facebook. I’ve never given meta ANY data. But you know who has? My mom. Simply by signing up, and installing an app on her iPhone, meta now has access to her phone book. And that sounds illegal. Because it is. You know who didn’t care to do even the smallest thing about changing any of it? Obama, and Biden. We all know trump never tried to help humanity, but if Democrats were trying to help people, they’d have made some effort, somewhere, to tax billionaires, and hold companies responsible. They don’t.
And so over the decades, ever since Nixon, the republicans get us closer and closer to fascism. And then the democrats get into power, and do…nothing. Clinton didn’t change any of the bullshit Reagan did. Obama didn’t change any of the bullshit Bush did. And Biden didn’t change any of the bullshit Trump did.
So it becomes a boiling pot cooking a frog. If you turn on the pot at level 1, and then hold off for a bit, then turn it up to a 2, you didn’t do anything to cool the pot down. You just delayed turning it up.
Well, now we’re at a point where fascists literally have the whole country by the balls.
But hey, maybe if you vote in the midterms for democrats, that’ll fix everything, right?
