I agree about the incumbency advantage, but this seat is open, neither are incumbents. Peters is stepping down - though I think he endorsed Stevens?

At the least, it’s an interesting test case if a monied candidate can sit back and beat an actively campaigning progressive despite their base’s enthusiasm. I’m hoping that voters will see through the media blitz, but I’ve been disappointed before. And 50 million in a primary is crazy.
