Which ones have people been allowed to oppose? For all the ones I can think of, people weren’t really allowed to oppose it. Just to varying degrees. Palestine has been the worst that I can think of though.

I fail to see how this can be blamed on the EU, even if there’s a pack with Tunisia to help with migrants. They didn’t capsized the boat. They didn’t force these people into trying to illegally immigrate this way. Are they even linked to what made these people want to immigrate?

The only way to even potentially prevent this would be to let anyone immigrate. But even then, things cost money and there’s still going to be people taking less than safe methods because of cost.

At some point, people need to be responsible for their own actions. And I don’t see how this is anything other than that. At least based on what’s in this article.
