COP30 made it even clearer that contemporary environmental policy is profoundly subordinate to capital. Climate decisions do not stem from the conservation and recovery of ecosystems, but from the need to guarantee the continuity of accumulation, transforming forests, rivers, sun, wind, and territories into strategic financial assets.
