He doesn’t give a shit about trade. Or even the economy. It’s just a cudgel to extract bribes. And it apparently worked.
He’s losing the trade war with everybody in the long run. It’s not even a war, he’s ordering bombing runs on his own soldiers and the other side is saying “uhhh I guess we’ll just…go around?”
Trump couldn’t negotiate his way out of a wet paper bag. Even if he wasn’t mentally incapacitated by dementia, he’d still be a fucking moron.
